Welcome to Our Club
The Shediac Lions Club was chartered on November 14th, 1961. Since then, with the support of the community, the Shediac Lions Club has distributed in excess of 1.3 million dollars to organizations and individuals in our community. In 1965 the Shediac Lions Club presented the first ambulance to the town of Shediac and helped organize a fully trained St. John Ambulance Brigade.
More recently the Club has organized annual food drives for the Vestiare Food Bank.
Also, a $500 bursary is a awarded to a Louis-J.-Robichaud high school graduate.
Each year the Club donates to various groups, 2011 donations totaled $3,000, with almost $2,000 going to youth and the remainder going to other community groups.
